Nothing, for company drivers. No escrow comes out of a company driver’s settlement, so there is nothing sitting on a 45-day clock when you decide to leave.

Straight on the rest: the lease and owner-operator programs do carry escrow. As a company driver — which is how we start everybody — there is none.

No. New drivers here start as company drivers, and we ask for at least a month before anybody even brings up another program.

Never go leasing with a company you don’t know yet. We’ll tell you that even though the lease is the one that’s worth more to us.

Don’t take our word for it, run the math. Our drivers average 3,500–4,000+ miles a week. Every mile pays the same — loaded and empty, no half rate for deadhead. Take our weekly miles or take your own, multiply by what the truck you’re being offered pays, and see where you land. That number is yours to check, not ours to claim.

Practical mileage, zip to zip. Paid weekly by direct deposit, 1099.

Detention is $18 an hour after the first two. Layover is $150 per 24 hours. Extra stops are $25 a stop. Clean DOT inspections pay on level 1, 2 and 3. Referrals are $500 a driver, unlimited, and it lands as its own separate weekly check.

There’s also Driver of the Month, paid on top of your settlement: $1,000 for first, $500 for second, $500 for third. It’s scored on your Samsara safety numbers, no preventable accidents and no DOT inspection violations — which makes the camera a thing that pays you, not only a thing that catches you.

There are all sorts of ways to make money here that aren’t the odometer.

You pick your truck off a 500+ fleet. Freightliner Cascadia, Kenworth T680, Peterbilt 579, Volvo, International — late model, automatic, with an inverter, refrigerator, microwave and a new mattress in it. Dispatch, roadside and ELD support are 24/7.

And when you do get repositioned, empty miles pay the same as loaded. A day spent driving toward freight isn’t a day you eat.

Day one you tell your dispatcher the area you least want to run, and we keep you out of there as much as we can. What we won’t do is promise you’ll never see it — that’s a promise that breaks on the first load, and then you’re done with us over a promise instead of a load. You work with us, we work with you, we meet in the middle.

Your recruiter will ask where your actual cutoff is — Buffalo? Pittsburgh? — because “East Coast” means something different to every driver. We run all 48. We don’t run New York City.

Every truck in the fleet is an automatic. Not because we think autos are better trucks — roughly 1 in 20 drivers can still run a stick, and new CDLs are being issued automatic-restricted, so the fleet is built for who’s actually on the road.

Governed at 70 mph on the cruise, 73 mph on the pedal.

The truck goes home with you — you park it somewhere safe and secure and you’re home. No deadheading back to a terminal and figuring out how to get to your own driveway.

The schedule itself you work out with your recruiter and your dispatcher directly. We’re not going to put a number on a web page and have you hold us to something dispatch didn’t agree to.

No. We can wait. We’re not pushing you, and we don’t want you burning a bridge with your current company on the way here — that’s a bad way to start.

Yes. Refrigerator, microwave and an inverter are standard in-cab spec, plus a new mattress.

If it’s a medical need, say so on the call. We’d rather know that upfront than find out about it after you’re already in the truck.

Yes to both. Pets are allowed — there’s a cleaning fee, that’s the whole catch.

Riders have to be 18 or over, complete the passenger form with HR and bring ID. Sort it out with your recruiter before the run, not at the truck stop.

The application takes about two minutes and it isn’t binding — it just lets safety pull your record. You get an answer in about 30 minutes. Drug screen gets booked near your home ZIP, results in about 24 hours. Orientation is one day, 4–6 hours in Chicago Ridge, IL, lunch included, hotel that night.

We book your travel — flight, bus or train. Get your recruiter to confirm exactly what’s covered before you spend a dollar of your own; we don’t like surprises at the first settlement any more than you do. To get that far: 2 years verifiable CDL-A, a decent record, no SAP.
