The Role
Our trucks log hours of service through Samsara, and every one of those logs has to be right. You make sure it is — watching for violations, clearing unassigned driving and log errors, and getting drivers what they need to fix them.
Drivers need answers while they are sitting at a shipper with a frozen tablet, so this role takes patience, clear instructions and real knowledge of the hours-of-service rules. You work closely with dispatch, safety and maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor ELD systems and driver logs across the fleet
- Help drivers with ELD questions and technical issues
- Review hours-of-service violations and work with drivers on corrections
- Resolve unassigned driving time and review log edits
- Train drivers on the ELD and hours-of-service basics
- Help dispatch plan around each driver’s available hours
- Pull log reports for safety reviews and audits
- Work with maintenance when a device or tablet needs replacing
What You Bring
- Working knowledge of hours-of-service rules, or the drive to learn them fast
- Comfortable troubleshooting apps and devices over the phone
- Patient, clear communication with drivers
- Organized and detail-oriented
A Plus, Not Required
- Samsara experience
- ELD, dispatch or trucking compliance experience
